Our History
Founded with a passion for the maritime industry, Atlantic Logistics began as a small but dedicated team of ship agents in the heart of Philadelphia. Our founders, with a strong foundation in shipping and port operations, recognized the need for specialized services to navigate the complexities of the bustling riverfront.
Over the years, we expanded our services to include contract carrier transportation, providing critical logistics solutions to some of the most prominent private companies operating along the Philadelphia waterfront, as well as operating three vessels worldwide, owned by DuPont de Nemours. Through these partnerships, we developed a deep understanding of the region’s transportation needs, ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods and resources. Additionally, we were entrusted with the caretaking of the SS United States throughout its tenure in Philadelphia. Under our management, the SS US was thoughtfully maintained and became known as a landmark in the city.
